About Us...

Master Rentals, a family owned business, first opened in October of 1990. We began as a general rental center designed to serve the needs of homeowners and light contractors in Whatcom and Skagit county. We offer a wide array of equipment for jobs both big and small. Our business philosophy is to keep the average age of the rental fleet to just 36 months. That coupled with our industry-leading preventative maintenance program keeps our equipment running strong, and virtually eliminates any down time for our customers when using our equipment.

In 1995, we became aware of an opportunity to expand into an under-served party/wedding market. Master Party Rentals, a division of Master Rentals was therefore launched in February of 1996 to serve the needs of brides, caterers and banquet facilities. The company stocks a large selection of inventory ranging from tables and chairs to tents for events up to 1000 people. The party/wedding segment of the business has expanded both in breadth and depth as more people become aware of the large selection of items available and the premier customer service offered by Master Party Rentals.

Master Rentals has slowly been running out of room to serve our customers.  Starting in 1999 we began a search for a new location.  We were fortunate in locating a wonderful location on James Street.  More commercial businesses are in the area, tree lined streets, and a slower street speed will all add to make the new location at 2219 James Street an ideal site.  We began constructing our new store in January 2000.  The location is planned to be available for business in approximately June of 2000.

The company continues to be attentive for additional areas to serve our current and future customers.
